My Experience

I am a native of Sacramento, California, and earned a Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, with post-doctoral studies at Stanford University Medical Center.

After three years as a Research Psychologist and co-director of a congressionally-mandated research study at the University of California, Berkeley, I served three years as a Clinical Psychologist in the Stanford Medical School.

I opened my own practice in Danville, California, where I worked on a wide variety of medical issues, shared an office with the medical director for hospice for Contra Costa County, and continued publishing research papers on child development, families and clinical psychology.

In 1998, I returned to my native Sacramento to work as a licensed Clinical Psychologist with individuals, families and groups from a life-span developmental perspective. I get great satisfaction from knowing that I am able to help others meet the challenges of living in these demanding times.
